Where did the summer go? I hope everyone had a great time over the summer with family and friends. I know I sure did and even got in a little gold panning on Black River near my cottage in the Muskoka’s.
Another successful camp was held at Bead Rock Store/Studio. I’m telling you – what these kids can make just blows me away. They are all so amazing! We held the camp every Tuesday and Thursday. Endless ideas and projects. Beading is so much fun when you are with young adventuress minds. They see things from such a fresh perspective and bend all the rules with wonderful results.
Maria Rypan was back and she taught us how to weave on the loom. Boy, both Carole and I are wondering what we got ourselves into. No not really, a new experience for both of us. Thanks to Maria she, with all her knowledge is teaching us how to sail through this with ease.
Nice to see her again after almost a year! She looked great with a sporting suntan.
This fall we are offering many new and exciting classes and a 6 week course for ages 6 and up every Saturday, starting Sept. 24th at 11:00 – 12:30 pm
